# --- Lore ---

The year is 2028, gaming is more widespread than ever. Countless talented individuals develop core skills like art, language, writing, coding, socialization, and even entrepreneurial minds which stem from their passion for games. Despite this, gamers continue to be repressed and underrecognized.

In the face of this unspoken adversity, select gamers from across the globe receive a cryptic invitation. The exclusive invite speaks of an alpha test to “realize the full potential of gamers and to legitimize their standing”. Aside from an address, date, and time, no other details were written. Eager to unshackle their innate potential, a few brave souls take the leap of faith.

Gathering at a towering skyscraper, the chosen few are solemnly welcomed as ones who dare to create precedence. Formalities complete, the participants close their eyes in anticipation of a new reality, of something greater, of what goes beyond contemporary limits.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://arcanahq.gitbook.io/project-arcana/the-fun-stuff/lore.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
