While work has already begun on later phases (namely phase 2, 3b, and 4b), the NFT launch will mark the first milestone for Project Arcana. It will be the initial point where supporters can join with the project directly and secure future benefits via ownership. This phase will include subphases of mint and reveal.
Phase 2: A.C.E. part I [Insights & Badges]
The A.C.E. platform alpha build will focus on connecting data oracles to user game accounts and output of verified achievement badges for users. Holders of Arcana will have opportunities to contribute and be rewarded by helping with platform testing and feedback. At this point, all Arcana battlepass holders be able to mint a free prototype PFP collection for use on the alpha platform. After all, we want to build things that people actually want to use and reward those who help us get there.
Phase 3: A.C.E. part II [Avatar Customization]
After setting and testing initial data connections, we will work to introduce the Avatar customization integrations. Users will have access to a select sample of game platforms and games at launch, starting with Steam, and will be able to start customizing their Arcana based on game accomplishments pulled.
Phase 4a: Community building & user adoption
Completion of phase 3 marks the completion of an MVP for the A.C.E. platform, upon which we will begin to focus on user adoption and growth. Being early supporters of the project, we want Arcana holders to be part of this journey. Both physical and digital reward drops for holders will be tied with platform growth, and individual referral codes will be provided to holders who can activate higher tier rewards by contributing to platform use - which will be free at this stage. Simultaneous to this, development will begin on the full-functioning A.C.E. platform.
Phase 4b: Gamer Opportunities
Abreast with platform adoption, we will start to curate exclusive partnerships with game industry companies. Some of these conversations are ongoing even now. Over time, holders and dedicated A.C.E. platform users can expect benefits from discounts to exclusive access for gaming gear and events.
Phase 5: A.C.E. part III [Expand integrations to steady-state]
As things stabilize on adoption and tech, we will aim to build up the A.C.E. platform with more game integrations and functions. Here, some monetization will be introduced to ensure sustainability as the build scales. Arcana holders though, can expect continued free access to most parts of the platform and heavily discounted access to premium features (which we will only charge to holders in the event of of high server hosting costs).
Longer term ambitions
It should be clear by now that Project Arcana is not just another quick build and launch project. We want to build something meaningful and sustainably beneficial for the community across NFT and gaming. That is why we have moonshot ambitions. While we are not yet ready to share full details as things are not yet finalized, the titles below should give some hint of what is to come.
