# --- Vision ---

Project Arcana is a celebration of gamers and push for meaningful use of blockchain technologies to enhance gaming.

The world spends so much time on identity through clothing, social media, and professional profiles - think resumes & LinkedIn. As gaming becomes an ever larger part of modern lives, should we not put some effort in celebrating this large aspect of who we are?

At the same time, blockchain technology has taken the world by storm. Yet, beyond recent financial fervor via GameFi, we have seen little efforts to utilize blockchain for gaming in meaningful and practical ways.

**That is why our vision is to enable:**

1. A future where ***gamers can be proud of their identity*** regardless of skill, genre, rank, or social background.
2. Gamer identities that ***embody legacies and nostalgic memories*** associated with gaming.
3. Meaningful application of blockchain in gaming to establish ***democratized game asset ownership, true interoperability, and deep co-creation.***

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://arcanahq.gitbook.io/project-arcana/roots-and-ambitions/vision.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
